GreenTech 2025 Highlights: Thermeleon’s Push for Smarter, Sustainable Greenhouses
On Tuesday June 10, our Founder & CEO Jildou de Jong together with our Operations Lead Mohammad Shayesteh, PhD presented at the Startup Innovator Pitches session. We shared how we’re reimagining the future of horticulture with a scalable and sustainable Heat Batteries. The session at the Deep Dive stage was filled with inspiring startups with innovative solutions to the most pressing challenges in agritech.
On Thursday June 12, The Vision Stage was crowded for attending the session ‘Greenhouse of the Future‘. Jildou de Jong together with Ilias Tsafaras from Wageningen University & Research, Egon Janssen from TNO, and Chrétien Hendriks from Genap, had a vivid session moderated by Henry Gordon-Smith exploring the technologies and strategies defining tomorrow’s greenhouses.

During GreenTech, we shared not only our vision, but also the first tangible results of our technology. Once again, we saw how strong the sector’s commitment is to truly advancing sustainability.
Our message was clear: achieving net-zero cultivation is not something we can do alone. It requires an integrated approach that combines heat buffering, light control, sustainable CO₂, and clean energy.
We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished together as a team, and we look forward to the collaborations that will grow from this.
